I love supporting independent musicians singer/songwriters and would be interested in trying other types of creators! We host in our home and during the summer, outside at a farmhouse and barn in Guelph.

What to expect

Featuring: JORY NASH Jory Nash is an award-winning singer-songwriter and storyteller who blends elements of folk, jazz, blues, pop & soul into an original stew of sound. He has recorded 8 critically acclaimed albums, including his newest CD The Many Hats of Jory Nash, which was nominated for two 2015 Canadian Folk Music Awards. His 2009 album New Blue Day was named Penguin Eggs Magazine Critic’s Choice Album of the Year and was also nominated for Canadian Folk Music Award for Best Producer. He is also a previous winner of the OCFF Songs From The Heart Award. LORI CULLEN This juno nominated singer never relies on clichés, never adheres to trends, and never emphasizes style over substance. Tying musical elements together is Cullen’s unique aesthetic, blurring the divisions between jazz, folk, and pop. In 2016 True North Records released Lori’s her 7th album that features repertoire composed specially for her by Kurt Swinghammer and Ron Sexsmith. DAVID MATHESON David is a multi-instrumentalist, performer and music producer. A proud veteran of every iteration of "The Way we Feel" since it's inception. A founding member of platinum selling juno nominees Moxy Fruvous, he has performed all over the world. He currently plays piano with renowned singer songwriter Ron Sexsmith, John McDermott, jazz vocalist Lori Cullen - all three of them Juno winners. He's also played with James Keeleghan, Royal Wood, Sarah Slean, Cindy Church, the Arrogant Worms and many others. David led the house band at tapings of The Royal Canadian Airfarce for it's final 8 years. He sings and plays piano regularly at fine hotels and restaurants in Toronto. When not performing, he both studies and teaches music, and produces recordings for others. JASON FOWLER Jason has released 6 solo albums and has played on over 100 albums, in addition to numerous film & TV scores. He has performed and/or recorded with innumerable Canadian and international artists including Loreena McKennit, Michelle Wright, Valdy, Nana Mouskouri, Susan Aglukark, Bruce Cockburn, Murray McLauchlan, Amy Sky, Marc Jordan, Quartette, Anne Lindsay, Suzie Vinnick, Justin Rutledge. He holds an Honours Degree from McGill University in Classical Guitar Performance and is a two-time winner at the prestigious Walnut Valley National Guitar Championships. Jason has been guitarist and musical director for John McDermott since 2002.

Why is this happening?

Because Gordon Lightfoot, and long summer afternoons were meant for each other.
