Description

If you wish to attend the second portion of the evening only - the dinner and performance by 2 Birds Band - please send us a note for 50% off at hello@artery.is or click the support button. $20 for part 2 of the evening. 4PM-6.30PM This event is about creating a sacred space where those from all backgrounds and religions can explore shared values and universal experiences on Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the Jewish calendar (no previous experience with Judaism required!) Through a therapeutic process involving study in pairs facilitated by Dario Helman, we will delve into the meaning of life, including acceptance, atonement, and renewal - themes that will be brought to life by Marques Hollie's musical performance. 6.30PM-7.30PM A festive communal meal will mark the end of the Yom Kippur day of fasting (fasting is not a requirement to make the food taste delicious!) 7.30PM-8.30PM 2 BIRDS BAND - a unique strings-based ensemble that fuses classical tradition and contemporary styles, will present an acoustic programme of jazz standards with a twist.
